Global Enterprise Services, Llc seeks a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and sustain enterprise LAN/WAN infrastructure for DoD environments in Fort Belvoir, VA or Albuquerque, NM. You will focus on Cisco routing/switching, Palo Alto firewalls, and secure VPN solutions to support classified operations.

Ideal candidates have DoD RMF/STIG expertise, TS/SCI eligibility, and strong hands-on experience with MPLS, OSPF, BGP, and GlobalProtect.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/engineering with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Active DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification (Security+, CySA+, or equivalent).
• Active Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Extensive experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise Cisco network infrastructure.
• Strong working knowledge of TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, DDI, NAT, VLANs, copper and fiber cabling, QoS, OSPF, MPLS, and SASE.
• Hands-on experience configuring Palo Alto firewalls, security policies, NAT, threat prevention, and GlobalProtect.
• Experience implementing secure remote-access and site-to-site VPN technologies.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, configure, and maintain enterprise LAN and WAN infrastructure.
• Engineer and support Cisco routing and switching environments for mission-critical networks.
• Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize routing and switching technologies including OSPF, BGP, VLANs, STP, and HSRP/VRRP.
• Support WAN connectivity utilizing MPLS, VPN, and Internet-based transport technologies.
• Configure and maintain Palo Alto Networks firewalls and GlobalProtect remote access.
• Monitor network health, analyze performance, and implement corrective actions.
• Develop engineering documentation, plans, diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity to ensure DoD RMF/STIG compliance and Zero Trust concepts.
• Support maintenance activities, incident response, and high-availability operations.
