Leidos seeks a Senior Network Engineer Deputy Team Lead to support mission-critical, enterprise-scale network infrastructure on the AFNCR ITS program at JBAB. You will administer, deploy, secure, and maintain core network hardware across unclassified and classified environments, ensuring high availability and DoW compliance.

The role emphasizes DoD STIG compliance, network telemetry, and collaboration with defense agencies. Expect on-call rotation and site modernization efforts.

Formación

• BS degree with 8+ years of related experience or MS with 6+ years.
• Active DoD Secret clearance required.
• DoD 8140 IAT Level II/III baselines: CCNA; Security+ optional.
• Expert in VLANs, STP, 802.1Q trunking, L2/L3 EtherChannel.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the primary alternate to the Team Lead; manage shift workflows and daily priorities.
• Monitor enterprise network infrastructure for real-time alerts and anomalies.
• Triage, isolate, and remediate Layer 1–3 incidents per SOPs.
• Escalate complex outages to leadership with logs and data.
• Provision, deploy, configure, and optimize routers, multilayer switches, and network appliances.
• Execute IOS/IOS-XE upgrades and firmware refreshes across fleet.
• Coordinate with carriers/vendors to troubleshoot circuit degradations and outages.
• Plan and execute authorized service interruptions following change control.
