Job summary

Sabre Systems, LLC is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support the PMA-281 CMPC program. The role focuses on MBSE for software-intensive mission planning tools, with a remote work setup and occasional travel (6-8 times/year).

You will lead engineering analyses, coordinate testing activities, and interact with users and vendors in an Agile environment to evolve capabilities for warfighter support. You must have a DoD background, strong communication, and a US citizenship with active

Qualifications

MS or MA in a technical or scientific field from an accredited college.
Alternative: BS plus 4 years additional relevant experience for a total of 14 years.
Minimum 10 years of relevant engineering experience, 3 in DoD context.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Active DoD Secret Clearance or higher; US Citizen.
Familiarity with NAVAIR/NAWCAD processes and policies.
Able to work autonomously and in a team within Agile environments.

Responsibilities

Perform MBSE activities for a software-intensive program delivering mission planning tools.
Lead cross-functional groups to analyze alternatives and resolve engineering challenges.
Engage with users to gather input and feedback for CMPC improvements.
Coordinate with test and evaluation activities for CMPC software.
Participate in Agile software development processes including backlog grooming and sprint reviews.
Provide input to project plans, schedules, and roadmaps; review CDRLs and SOWs.
Brief NAVAIR leadership on technical progress and analysis.
