Job summary

Compass Point, an Akima company, seeks a Senior Computer User Support Specialist to join our enterprise ITSM team supporting USSOCOM. You will handle end-user hardware, software, network and application issues across multiple networks and mission-critical systems.

A TS clearance with SCI eligibility is required, along with DoD 8570 IAT II and DoW 8140-411 Basic certifications. Candidate must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication, ability to work autonomously, and provide

Qualifications

Must have DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification.
Must have DoW 8140-411 Basic certification.
Must maintain DoW 8140-411 Basic via continuing education/recertification.
Possess TS clearance with SCI eligibility.
Bachelor's degree in STEM; relevant experience may substitute education.

Responsibilities

Interfaces directly with end-users to provide hardware, software, network and applications problem resolution.
Is an expert with desktop operating systems and office automation suites.
Work rotating shift schedules including nights, weekends and holidays.
Communicate professionally with customers at all levels, in person, by phone or email.
