Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Sr. Tier 2 Helpdesk Lead to support a large DoD contract at Fort Belvoir, VA. The role emphasizes team leadership, incident management, and advanced technical support across classified and unclassified endpoints, including VDI and imaging tasks.

The candidate must hold an active DoD TS/SCI clearance and have a track record of guiding IT service desk teams, meeting SLAs, and implementing ITIL/ITSM processes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Active DoD TS/SCI clearance required.
• 8+ years relevant IT experience.
• Experience leading IT Service Desk teams and guiding peers.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical shift lead and escalation point for the team.
• Oversee ticket queue health and SLA adherence.
• Troubleshoot remote and deskside IT issues, including VDI and imaging tasks.
• Perform root-cause analysis and advanced diagnostics for complex incidents.
• Coordinate deployments and onboarding hardware for new employees.
• Ensure compliance with ITSM/ITIL processes and document fixes in KBAs.
