Job summary

Diaconia seeks a finance professional to provide comptroller support to the directorate, focusing on cost research, estimation, EVM implementation, and program financial analysis.

You will prepare financial reports, participate in reviews, and interface with Air Force and DoD entities to reconcile and analyze budgets. The role requires DoD clearance, U.S. citizenship, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Active Secret DoD clearance or ability to obtain/maintain security clearance at required level.
• U.S. Citizenship required for U.S. Government entity.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal skills to develop/maintain relationships.
• Expert in the technical/professional field.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial management/comptroller support for the directorate across cost research, cost estimating, and EVM implementation and analysis.
• Assist with preparation of financial management briefings and reports including NSSCs and delivery reports.
• Coordinate interfacing with Air Force organizations, DFAS, DoD prime/sub-contractors and other DoD agencies for reconciliations.
• Conduct program financial management inputs including budget formulation and management across planning, programming, budgeting and execution.
• Contribute to program documentation inputs such as program requirements, costs, schedules, risks, reviews and SARs/MARs/DAES.
• Assist in material solution analyses leading up to design reviews.
• Apply DoD and Air Force financial management regulations and DFAS guidance to prepare program reports and financial documentation.
• Assist in ABIDES outputs reviews and maintain comparison records between updates.
• Consult with USG on financial operations and improvements.
• Support through systems like CCaRs, CRIS, ABSS, IDECS II, OARS, FM Suite, CMCS, WAWF, SAMRS, DISAM, MOCAS, BOQ, SDW.
• Assist in maintaining accurate overtime accounting and briefing on overtime budget status.
• Support program office in managing program financial risk.
• Comply with FAR/DFARS/AFFARS and related documents.
