Job summary

Fairwinds Technologies is seeking an experienced Cost Analyst to support a high-visibility DoD AWACS program. You will perform cost analysis, EVM, budgeting, forecasting, and program controls to ensure compliant reporting across the lifecycle.

The role requires active DoD Secret clearance, collaboration with PM, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Government stakeholders, and strong Excel/IPMDAR/CWBS experience to drive cost performance and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• 9+ years in cost analysis, program control, financial planning, or EVMS.
• 5+ years supporting DoD acquisition programs and complex defense contracts.
• 5+ experience with EVMS, IPMDAR, CFSR, CSDR, CWBS development, and IMS.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience preparing executive-level reports.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain budgets, EACs, ETCs, and forecasts.
• Analyze costs vs. budget, identify variances and risks.
• Support EVMS, IBRs, PMB maintenance, and cost reporting.
• Prepare cost performance metrics (CPI, SPI, CV, SV, VAC).
• Collaborate with PM, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Government stakeholders.
