Job summary

Galapagos Federal Systems is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support the MAGTF C2 Program Office for the Marine Corps. The role provides senior financial management, budget analysis, PPBE support, and oversight of funding across MAGTF C2 programs.

You will collaborate with Government leadership, monitor execution, prepare FARs, develop forecasts, and produce executive briefings. Proficiency with DAI, Cerberus, PIEE, SharePoint, Excel, and PowerPoint is required, and a DoD security

Qualifications

• 12+ years of DoW financial management or related defense program support.
• Experience with PPBE process and budgeting in DoN/DoW contexts.
• Ability to prepare FARs, forecasts, and spend plans.
• Experience supporting POM development and budget formulation.
• Proficiency in financial systems and reporting tools (DAI/Cerberus/PIEE).
• Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and SharePoint skills.
• Ability to brief executives and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level financial management, budget analysis, and PPBE support for Marine Corps MAGTF C2 programs
• Monitor daily and weekly financial execution, tracking obligations, expenditures, and available funding against approved budgets and execution benchmarks
• Prepare, review, and process Funding Action Requests (FARs) and supporting financial documentation
• Develop and maintain financial models, budget forecasts, spend plans, and funding execution reports
• Track appropriated funds against budget plans, fiscal year requirements, and DoD execution benchmarks
• Support POM development, budget formulation, and resource planning
• Conduct cost-benefit analyses, budget variance assessments, funding shortfall evaluations, and trade-off studies
• Identify financial risks, funding gaps, and execution challenges while recommending corrective actions
• Prepare executive-level financial briefings, budget summaries, and decision-support materials
• Support fiscal year closeout and startup activities, including funding reconciliation and reporting
• Utilize DAI, Cerberus, PIEE, SharePoint, Excel, and PowerPoint to maintain financial records and reporting
• Ensure compliance with DoW, DoN, and federal policies and reporting requirements
