The role requires initiative, sound judgment, and the ability to operate in a fast-moving startup environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of DoD business development, capture management, or related government experience.
• Proven success winning new business from initial engagement to award.
• Strong understanding of DoD procurement and budget cycles.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute DoD business development strategy across DoD components and program offices.
• Build trusted relationships with operators, acquisition professionals, primes, and industry partners.
• Identify, qualify, shape, and capture strategic opportunities from engagement through award and transition to execution.
• Maintain a healthy multi-quarter pipeline with forecasting and CRM discipline.
• Lead capture planning including customer engagement, competitive assessments, and win themes.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, contracts, and leadership to align priorities with the roadmap.
• Navigate FAR-based contracts and rapid acquisition mechanisms.
• Cultivate strategic partnerships with primes, systems integrators, and government partners.
• Represent NODA at demonstrations, exercises, and industry events.
• Provide executive briefings and strategic communications.
