Job summary

Serco Inc., the Americas division of Serco Group, is seeking an SME Anti‑Tamper Engineer to support the DoD Anti‑Tamper Executive Agent Field Program Office at Wright‑Patterson AFB, OH. A Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI is required.

The role involves security engineering, evaluating electronic circuitry, and collaboration with DoD labs and industry partners. The candidate should have a Master’s in Engineering with extensive DoD experience and at least 3 years in SAP/SCI

Qualifications

• Active TOP-SECRET security clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI.
• Master's degree in an Engineering discipline with 20+ years of relevant DoD/government experience.
• Minimum 3 years of SAP or SCI experience within the last 5 years.
• Ability to travel up to 10% (CONUS).

Responsibilities

• Apply DoD systems security engineering process, weapon system protection planning, and anti-tamper methods for current and future weapons systems.
• Assess integrated circuitry and memory chips; determine reverse engineering methodologies for electronic systems.
• Provide engineering support for technology acquisitions, including RFP development and technical oversight.
• Review contractor proposals for design feasibility and system compatibility.
• Assess acquired capabilities against system design requirements and specs.
• Collaborate with Service labs and industry partners to assess susceptibilities and vulnerabilities of weapon systems.
• Identify technologies and evaluate designs to protect CPI.
• Work with DoD Anti‑Tamper Evaluation Teams to understand current designs and vulnerabilities.
• Assist efforts to improve anti‑tamper/exploitation design, development, manufacturing, training, and sustainment.
• Evaluate system test plans and participate in system/subsystem/component testing.
• Conduct performance, supportability, schedule, and risk assessments and trade studies.
• Create, staff, publish, and maintain security classification guides for the DoD AT community.
