Responsibilities
Registering of internal and external documents.
Coordinate all activities related to the Document Control procedure.
Generate various document control reports as required.
Ensure controlled copies of latest approved documents are given to the appropriate staff.
Maintain updated records of all approved documents and drawings.
Maintain documents in the Document Control office under safe custody.
Maintain the files and control logs as required by the project.
Maintain document control registers for incoming and outgoing project documents.
Maintain a master document register of the latest drawings on a project.
Ensure the latest revision and approval status of drawings is kept updated.
Expedite responses to transmittals sent for review/comment.
Respond to queries regarding revision status of issued drawings/documents.
Manage the electronic and hard copy filing of project related technical documentation.
File and archive documentation for easy retrieval.
Liaise with project team members for technical submissions.
Input document data into the standard registers ensuring accuracy.
Provide reports on document management system performance.
Monitor and improve data management procedures according to project objectives.
