Job summary

Kiewit is seeking a Senior Document Control Manager for its Industrial District to lead document control operations on large, complex Advanced Technology projects. The role focuses on scalable processes, compliance, and high-quality documentation across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.

Based in Minnesota, this full-time leadership position requires coordinating with cross-functional teams, mentoring staff, and delivering audit-ready records while driving standardization

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 8+ years of progressive document control/records management experience.
• 3+ years of leadership experience managing document control teams.
• Experience supporting large, complex projects in industrial environments.
• Deep knowledge of document control best practices and lifecycle management.
• Hands-on proficiency with leading document management platforms (InEight, Procore, ACC, SharePoint).

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee document control operations for large, complex Advanced Technology projects.
• Define and implement document control strategy, processes, and standards.
• Drive integration of document management systems across engineering, procurement, construction, quality, and commissioning.
• Ensure accurate, timely, and controlled document flow in line with contractual requirements.
• Lead, mentor, and develop document control teams and establish performance expectations.
• Identify risks and drive continuous improvement in document control performance.
• Oversee audit readiness, turnover, and closeout of project documentation.
• Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timely submission and approval.
