Job summary

Luster National, Inc. seeks a Senior Document Control Specialist to lead document control on large heavy civil projects in California. You will ensure accuracy, traceability, and audit readiness across design, construction, and environmental records while supporting rollout and continuous improvement.

In this role, you will oversee system configuration, workflows, and reporting, mentor staff, and coordinate with IT, procurement, and project teams. This hybrid position is based in Sacramento, CA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 8+ years of document control experience on large, complex infrastructure projects.
• Experience as senior/lead document controller on a capital program.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for document control systems, processes, and standards.
• Oversee document intake, processing, storage, and archival across design, construction, ROW, and environmental records.
• Review submittals for completeness, metadata, naming conventions, version control, and classification.
