Are you a document control expert ready to lead one of the nation’s most ambitious infrastructure projects? The California High-Speed Rail Program is looking for a Senior Document Controller in Sacramento to serve as a technical lead and system architect for our enterprise-wide document management operations.
In this role, you won’t just manage files—you’ll stabilize operations, mentor teams, and act as a Power User for our enterprise systems to ensure long-term project success.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
We are looking for a highly specialized background that includes:
- Expertise: 7-10 years of experience and deep knowledge of document management standards and compliance requirements.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and enterprise-level management platforms.
- Communication: The ability to draft training materials and present performance briefings to program leadership.
- Preferred Background: Experience in large-scale transportation or public-sector programs and professional certifications like CRM or CDIA+ are a major plus.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- System Leadership: Act as a system administrator and power user for our enterprise Document Control System, managing configurations and troubleshooting.
- Process Excellence: Develop SOPs, process maps, and user guides to maintain high standards of data integrity.
- Compliance & Oversight: Review submittals for accuracy and ensure all documentation is audit-ready and compliant with regulatory obligations.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance and technical support to Document Controllers and project teams.
