Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an experienced District Manager in the United States.

This senior leader will oversee store operations across multiple sites, drive district sales and profitability, recruit and mentor General Managers, and ensure strong relationships with DIY and Commercial customers. The role requires strong financial acumen, staff development, and effective communication, with a focus on delivering results while maintaining integrity across the market.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience managing a team of 10–20 General Managers
• Proven track record in meeting sales and gross margin targets in a multi-unit environment
• Successful experience managing profitability and financial performance

Responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed district sales and profitability goals
• Ensure commercial customer retention and relationship growth
• Recruit, hire, develop, and retain General Managers and Core 4 staff
• Ensure staffing levels across the district and adherence to inventory standards
• Conduct regular store visits and provide action plans
• Review P&L with GMs and teach profit focus
• Communicate effectively with stores and support staff
• Foster diversity and a respectful environment
