Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a General Manager to lead store operations, inspire the team, and grow our professional and DIY customer business. The role requires strong knowledge of automotive parts, store systems, and the ability to manage schedules, inventory, and financial metrics.

You will recruit and develop Team Members, ensure top service standards, and build relationships with Professional Customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; Bachelor's preferred.
• 2-3 years managing a team of 10-20 in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Must be able to work 50–55 hours per week, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Achieve store sales goals and service objectives.
• Hire, develop, coach, and engage store Team Members.
• Lead inventory and operational standards.
• Coordinate on-duty management and safety.
• Develop relationships with Professional Customers and drive program growth.
• Manage financial metrics and P&L awareness.
