Job summary

Denver Public Schools is seeking a senior-level facility planning professional to support the district's capital bond program and master planning for its educational facilities. The role involves assembling, analyzing, and coordinating facility needs information for use by Facilities Management and other district departments.

Ideal candidates will have a decade of architectural/engineering and project management experience, plus a commitment to equity and access to high-quality education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree Required.
• Ten years of progressively responsible architectural or engineering experience and construction program and project management.
• Commitment to racial and educational equity and dismantling oppression.
• Residence in Colorado is required.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with department leadership and cross-teams on district facility planning initiatives.
• Determine future facility needs with educational administrators and facilities staff.
• Define project scopes and prepare cost estimates for projects.
• Develop and maintain facility needs data and related databases (Archibus, Tririga).
• Coordinate information for major building replacements and new tech infrastructure.
