Job summary

Applitrack seeks a Director of Facility Planning and Construction to lead the district's capital improvement program, directing planning, design, and construction of major projects. This role requires a bachelor's degree in a related field and 6–8 years of progressive experience, including supervisory responsibilities, with public-sector preference.

The position is contingent on voter approval of a school bond referendum.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, facilities planning, or a related field.
• Six to eight years of progressively responsible experience in facility planning, design, construction, or capital project management, including supervisory experience.
• Professional licensure or certification in architecture, engineering, construction management, or project management is preferred.
• Other qualifications as the Superintendent and Board of Education may deem appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and manage the Facility Planning and Construction Department and the district's capital improvement program.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, within approved budgets and schedules, and in accordance with district needs and educational priorities.
