Job summary

FirstEnergy Corp. is seeking a Distribution Instructor to deliver comprehensive training to apprentices and journeylevel lineworkers. You will teach electrical theory, system operations, safety practices, and equipment use in classroom and field settings.

Role includes developing lesson plans, tracking progress, and mentoring learners while collaborating with other instructors to ensure program quality and safety across FirstEnergy’s service territory.

Qualifications

• 8-12 years of journey level technical/field experience required.
• Ability to climb poles, operate bucket trucks, and work at heights.
• Experience training, coaching, mentoring, or leading field crews is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on and classroom training to apprentices and journeylevel lineworkers.
• Instruct on OSHA, NESC standards, and company safety policies.
• Maintain training records, develop lesson plans, and update curriculum.
