Job summary

Entergy is seeking a Field Coordinator to oversee distribution construction, maintenance, restoration, and switching activities. You will embed safety rules and clearances into pre‑job docs, validate work packages, and coordinate with DOC for safe sequencing in outage situations.

The role requires strong planning, coordination across field crews, and coaching of staff to ensure high‑quality, timely execution on the ground. 75% travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in field leadership and planning for distribution work.
• Ability to review switching orders and ensure safety controls are in place.
• Strong QA/QC discipline and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Safety leadership and high‑risk planning embedded into pre‑job documentation.
• Standards compliance, QA/QC, and validation of work packages.
• Prepare switching packages, isolation points, and outage steps.
• Confirm execution readiness across permits, logistics, and materials.
• Coach planners and field personnel to improve planning quality.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent or related work experience

Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree preferred
