Job summary

Entergy is seeking a Field Coordinator - Distribution in Mississippi to lead safe, efficient distribution construction, maintenance, restoration and switching activities. You will plan, validate work packages, and embed Life Critical Rules into pre‑job documentation, coordinating with DOC and field teams to ensure readiness.

Responsibilities include safety leadership, QA/QC, outage planning, and coaching of planning and field personnel to ensure first‑time-right execution and timely restoration.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent or related work experience
• 7+ years of distribution or transmission line experience
• Ability to pass the technical capability test
• To be eligible, either 5 years of discipline-specific field experience or SVP-approved Operations Coordinator experience

Responsibilities

• Safety Leadership & High‑Risk Planning – embeds Life Critical Rules and Safe Work Practices.
• Standards Compliance, Quality Control & Work Package Validation – ensures alignment with standards and performs QA/QC.
• System Operations Support, Switching Readiness & Outage Planning – prepares switching packages and outage steps.
• Execution Readiness & Work Enablement – validates access, environmental needs, permits, logistics and materials.
• Technical Coaching, Troubleshooting & Field Support – coaches planners and crews and resolves planning gaps.
