Job summary

Entergy is seeking a Field Coordinator - Distribution in Mississippi to ensure safe, efficient execution of distribution construction, maintenance, restoration, and switching activities. You will embed Life Critical Rules, grounding, clearances, and safe-work practices into pre-job documentation while validating work packages against standards.

The role requires coordinating with DOC for switching readiness, planning outages, and ensuring readiness across Construction, Dispatch, and Supply Chain

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent or related work experience.
• Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safety Leadership & High‑Risk Planning: anticipate hazards, embed rules, ensure safety controls before crews mobilize.
• Standards Compliance: QA/QC, pre-construction reviews, site assessments, material verification to prevent rework.
• System Operations Support: validate switching, outage steps, and coordination with DOC for safe sequencing.
• Execution Readiness: verify access, permits, logistics, equipment, and materials for smooth field execution.
• Technical Coaching: guide planners and field personnel, address planning challenges, improve documentation.
