Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Senior Distribution Engineer in Seattle, WA. The role combines field and office work, delivering electrical distribution design packages and client-facing services, with a focus on QAQC and adherence to client priorities.

You will collaborate with internal teams, perform field data collection, and engage with clients to ensure designs meet NESC and industry standards, while supporting project execution and future team leadership.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of electric distribution project experience in a consulting environment or at an electric utility.
• ABeT-accredited engineering degree (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil or Industrial).
• Experience with NESC is required.
• Experience with design quality control and QAQC processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical distribution work packages and perform engineering design and analysis.
• QAQC reviews of designs prior to client submittals.
• Review engineering design packages with clients and organize program work.
• Perform scope analysis and maintain schedule adherence to client priorities.
• Interact with clients frequently and provide engineering support during construction.
