Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Distribution Engineering Manager to lead our Power Distribution Engineering team. You will oversee engineers, ensure QAQC across simple and complex projects, and interact directly with clients to uphold Leidos’ high-quality reputation.

Preferred Pittsburgh area proximity with potential remote work now and hybrid/onsite later. You will gain exposure to NESC, structural pole modeling, and CAD/design standards while advancing your professional engineering career.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or Industrial preferred; relevant experience may substitute.
• 5+ years of distribution engineering experience and client interaction.
• Experience executing distribution projects from kickoff through design.
• Knowledge of NESC and utility reliability projects.
• QAQC expertise and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead distribution engineers and oversee QAQC on varied projects.
• Work directly with clients and ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Develop design packages and coordinate with stakeholders.
