Job summary

Leidos in Seattle is seeking a Project Analyst to support the Distribution Engineering team. The role coordinates permitting/ROW, tracks schedules and costs, and serves as a hub across internal and external stakeholders to keep projects on track.

You will assist engineers with data gathering, documentation, and cost estimates, while maintaining project files and reports. This hybrid role combines office work with remote capability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in Business/Engineering fields preferred.
• Approximately 3–6 years of relevant experience in utilities, construction, project coordination/admin, permitting, or related field.
• Working knowledge of electric utility operations (technical familiarity), not necessarily a license.
• Permitting and/or right-of-way processes experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Clear written and verbal communication with customers, government agencies, and internal teams.
• Proficiency in MS Office and data tracking.

Responsibilities

• Project Coordination & Administration: prioritize and track distribution project workloads; ensure timely design and issuance.
• Serve as day-to-day contact for utility customers, construction personnel, and staff; route questions and resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate project files, documentation, and status records in PM and engineering systems.
• Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas/minutes, draft reports and presentation materials for leadership.
• Data entry, validation, and updates across project/engineering systems; ensure data accuracy.
• Review data backlogs, reconcile discrepancies, and improve data quality.
