Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Display Engineer for a fully onsite contract role in Spring, TX. You will lead complex display investigations across monitors, docks, cables, graphics drivers, and firmware, building representative test setups and documenting findings for engineering actions.

We value candidates with enterprise endpoint troubleshooting and debugging skills, who can isolate root causes and validate fixes independently.

Qualifications

• Expert-level experience in enterprise endpoint troubleshooting and issue isolation.
• Ability to reproduce complex display/docking scenarios and verify fixes.
• Experience diagnosing display paths across DP/HDMI/USB-C/Thunderbolt ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end display investigations for issues like intermittent black screens and docking failures.
• Build representative test environments mirroring customer hardware configurations.
• Conduct disciplined root-cause analysis using controlled A/B testing and test matrices.
• Troubleshoot DisplayPort, HDMI, USB-C video, and related topology constraints.
• Document findings with concise evidence packages for engineering teams.
