Job summary

Downstream is seeking a Senior Dispatch Operations Representative to own the toughest supplier-side challenges, including emergency sourcing, disputes, and complex site issues. You will oversee the hold-or-switch decisions and ensure timely delivery under a strict SLA framework.

The role focuses on real-time problem solving, coaching D1 development, and maintaining strong supplier relationships to protect service quality.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in dispatch, logistics, field operations, or supplier management
• Rapid problem-solver under real-time pressure — same-day re-sourcing is the job
• Capable negotiator in supplier disputes
• Sharp operational judgment: discern which suppliers can deliver
• A coach — your standard becomes the team's standard

Responsibilities

• Run emergency same-day sourcing when a primary supplier fails
• Own supplier cancellation escalations end to end
• Resolve complex product issues on active jobsites
• Make the hold-or-switch decision
• Settle supplier disputes — billing, PO, and delivery
• Vet new suppliers operationally after the sourcing hand off
• Manage key supplier relationships and coach D1 development
