Job summary

U.S. AutoForce, a division of U.S. Venture, Inc., seeks a Dispatch Supervisor to lead truck dispatch, route planning, and driver management. You will ensure timely freight movement, monitor DOT compliance, and support the Operations Manager with site needs.

Responsibilities include coordinating equipment scheduling, maintaining driver records, and providing daily guidance to drivers. The role may require overtime and weekend rotation as business needs arise.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• 1 year professional driving experience (cube van/box truck/semi).
• 2+ years in transportation industry.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations for drivers.
• Excellent communication and organization skills.
• Ability to use powered industrial trucks and obtain forklift certification.
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds and push up to 40 pounds.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain one during hiring.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch trucks to convey freight efficiently and track deliveries with computer systems.
• Review driver assignments, delivery times, and performance; ensure DOT/regulatory compliance.
• Back up Operations Manager during vacations or time off.
• Schedule all inbound/outbound mobile transportation and railcars.
• Coordinate daily/weekly blending activities and related items.
• Monitor equipment and support drivers with account-specific issues.
• Ensure all driver paperwork is completed on time (logs, inspections, fuel receipts).
• Maintain records of vehicles, insurance, and regulatory filings.
