Qualifications

• Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline and 7+ years of experience.
• May require certification; advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and maintains performance and productivity metrics and cost management processes for delivery services to customers and fleet management.
• Eliminates inter-branch freight expenses and improves lead times while reducing freight costs.
• Manages route planning by reviewing DOT weight and Hazmat requirements for each vehicle.
• Supports delivery operations using Descartes and Geotab platforms for route planning, dispatch, GPS tracking, and fleet management.
• Creates plans to ensure timely deliveries in accordance with service level agreements and analyzes tickets for appropriate branch assignment.
• Captures and analyzes inventory to optimize distribution channels across branches.
• Coordinates vehicle maintenance and lease agreements with branches; schedules driver/vehicle credentials for union and non-union sites.
