Job summary

CGS is seeking a Senior Discovery Business and System Analyst to join a fast-paced legal team supporting government contracting initiatives. You will analyze business and IT systems, document processes, and help design efficient workflows across the portfolio.

You will collaborate with PMO and stakeholders to validate requirements, develop test scripts, and evaluate procurement options. The role offers growth opportunities and a rigorous, professional environment.

Qualifications

• Documentation of new and existing business processes for training, analysis and redesign.
• Thorough analysis of existing and new processes to improve workforce efficiency.
• Gap analyses for modifications to business processes.
• Maintain a requirements database documenting support for each requirement.
• Validate proposed solutions meet the underlying need.
• Collect materials from industry providers to address requirements.
• Document and manage IT solution functional capabilities.
• Analyze capabilities vs requirements to identify technology gaps.
• Compare marketing materials and deliver an Analysis of Alternatives for PMO.
• Validate new solutions deliver targeted capabilities.
• Build and execute thorough test scripts to evaluate products.
• Review solution configuration changes to keep discovery program current.
• Perform other systems analysis research and documentation tasks.

Responsibilities

• Compare marketing materials and deliver an Analysis of Alternatives for PMO planning.
• Validate that a solution delivers a new functional capability addressing requirements.
• Build and execute test scripts to evaluate capabilities across products.
• Review configuration changes to maintain accurate business capability pictures.
• Perform other systems analysis research and documentation tasks as assigned.
