Job summary

CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) is seeking a Senior Discovery Database Administrator to join our Legal department. The role focuses on supporting Microsoft SQL Server 2019 and 2022, designing data models, implementing data lakes/warehouses, and ensuring high availability and robust backups.

You will manage security, reporting, and maintenance jobs, while collaborating with teams to migrate systems to cloud infrastructure and develop SSRS reports.

Qualifications

Experience administering MS SQL Server 2019 and 2022.
Experience with data lake, data warehouse, and data modeling techniques.
Strong understanding of backup, recovery, security, and high-availability practices.

Responsibilities

Provide database administration support for MS SQL Server environments, including security, tables, indexes, stored procedures, and maintenance jobs.
Design and maintain databases in clustered server environments with robust data modeling.
Assist in migrating systems to cloud infrastructure and optimizing SSRS reports.
