Job summary

CGS is seeking a Senior Discovery Database Administrator to join our Legal department on a full-time basis. You will support Microsoft SQL Server 2019 and 2022, implement security, create tables and procedures, and design reports to meet legal data needs.

The role involves building data models, data lake/warehouse concepts, high availability, backups, and cloud migration. You will work with a fast-paced team and contribute to the government's data solutions CGS delivers.

Qualifications

• Manage Microsoft SQL Server 2019 and 2022 with security, tables, indexes, and stored procedures.
• Design and maintain databases in clustered server environments.
• Apply data lake, data warehouse, data mart architectures and metadata modeling.
• Ensure database redundancy, log shipping, backup and recovery for SQL Server 2019+.
• Facilitate migration of systems to cloud infrastructure.
• Upgrade SQL Server versions and create SSRS reports.
• Set up a reporting server and perform DBA functions and report development.

Responsibilities

• Provide database administration support to the LegalAccounts team and related portfolios.
• Develop and maintain reporting solutions using SSRS and related tools.
• Implement best practices for database performance, security, and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance.
