American Red Cross is seeking a Senior Community Disaster Program Manager to guide volunteers and staff in delivering disaster relief services. The role focuses on building a strong volunteer workforce, coordinating community preparedness, and leading disaster response activities across the region.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree, 5+ years of related experience, and at least 3 years in supervision. A valid driver’s license is required to support field deployments.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of related experience.
• Management Experience: 3 years of supervisory or management experience.
• Must have a valid driver's license & a clean MVR.

Responsabilités

• Empower Volunteers: lead and manage a diverse team of volunteers in disaster services across the region.
• Lead the Program: oversee and ensure successful implementation of disaster cycle activities.
• Mission Capacity Building: develop and support disaster leadership volunteers and partners.
• Engage Community: supervise efforts to mobilize communities and engage partners.
• Manage in a Matrix: collaborate with internal partners in a matrix environment.
• Know Your Communities: be a regional disaster subject matter expert to maximize Red Cross presence.
• Ready to Respond: initiate, scale, and coordinate disaster relief operations.
