Job summary

Volunteers of America Colorado (VOAC) is seeking a Service Coordinator to manage service provision and housing assistance for residents in the Affordable Housing Portfolio. The role focuses on seniors and persons with disabilities, coordinating health, wellness, and educational programs, and expanding community partnerships to support independence and aging in place.

The position requires collaboration with the Community Administrator, adherence to HUD/VOA guidelines, and the ability to document

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services, social work, or related field or related experience.
• At least 1 year working with senior citizens and/or people with disabilities.
• Willing to obtain first aid/CPR certifications and keep current.

Responsibilities

• Assess resident needs through surveys, visits and meetings.
• Coordinate services and monitor activities of providers to residents.
• Maintain up-to-date records on residents and service providers.
• Develop and facilitate support groups and workshops.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing requirements.
