Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a warehouse operations supervisor to manage the entire warehouse workflow and oversee the driver fleet, including recruiting, safety, and compliance. • High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience.
• 6 - 10 years Foodservice operations or related area with supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise associates including scheduling, training and development counseling, performance management and problem resolution.
• Manage inventory levels to optimize cash flow, budget the Warehouse Department yearly, and monitor monthly performance.
• Interact with customers and vendors in a timely, friendly manner and answer questions accurately.
• Establish procedures to maximize operations efficiency and productivity of the department.
• Solve operational problems and adapt to variable situations with limited standardization.
• Improve operational strategies and processes based on food distribution industry knowledge.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
