Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee the warehouse workflow and driver fleet, focusing on recruiting, safety and compliance while guiding staff toward corporate goals.

This role drives profitability, budgets the Warehouse Department, analyzes operations, and partners with customers and vendors to ensure high-quality service. Leadership experience supervising large teams is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• 6–10 years of foodservice operations or related management experience.
• 2–3 years in a leadership role for a team of 150+ direct and indirect reports.

Responsibilities

• Supervise associates: scheduling, training and development counseling, performance management and problem resolution.
• Manage inventory levels to achieve optimum cash flow and service; budget the Warehouse Department yearly and monitor monthly.
• Interact with customers and vendors in a friendly, timely and quality manner.
• Establish procedures to maximize warehouse operations efficiency.
• Analyze work situations and make effective decisions; improve operational strategies.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
