Job summary

Muon Space is seeking a Senior Proposal Manager to lead high-priority proposal efforts, drive strategy from opportunity identification through award, and build scalable capture processes. You will collaborate with Engineering, Business Development, Finance, Contracts, and Executives to develop compliant, winning proposals and messaging.

Remote-friendly role with TS clearance preferred; you will mentor teams, define win themes, and shape Muon’s capture capabilities across DoD, Space Force, NASA

Qualifications

• Ten+ years leading technical captures or complex proposals.
• Experience translating customer mission needs into spacecraft solutions.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Strong knowledge of FAR/DFARS, RFPs, BAAs, OTAs and government solicitations.
• Active TS clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams to develop compliant, compelling technical proposals.
• Develop capture best practices, processes and materials to enable Muon to deliver compelling proposals.
• Coordinate with executives to define materials, themes and messaging for captures.
• Develop win themes, discriminators, and solution strategies aligned with customer needs.
• Plan proposal activities, schedules, reviews, and gates across pursuits.
• Ensure compliance with RFPs, BAAs, RFIs, and other solicitations.
• Perform competitive analysis and risk assessment.
• Improve capture processes, libraries, and reusable content.
• Lead retrospectives and drive continuous improvement.
• Mentor contributors on capture best practices.
• Identify emerging customer needs and market opportunities.
