Job summary

Sound Transit seeks an experienced leader to oversee a portfolio of high-value electrical, fire alarm and SOGR projects within the Capital Delivery Department. You will supervise a delivery team, provide constructability guidance, and coordinate with divisions, agencies and consultants.

The role emphasizes leadership, policy compliance, and development of robust construction procedures to meet program goals while fostering Sound Transit’s values and inclusive culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, planning or related field.
• Six years of program management support experience with scope, schedule and budget.
• Six years of leadership and workforce management experience.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs, coordinates, and reviews the work of assigned staff.
• Coaches, trains, and motivates staff; manages workflow and performance.
• Leads resource planning, hiring, and onboarding for assigned staff.
• Develops program budgets and forecasts funds for staffing, equipment, and materials.
