Job summary

McKinstry, headquartered in Seattle, seeks a Senior Manager, Enterprise Sustainability to lead enterprise-wide decarbonization and climate action initiatives. You will own strategy, drive emissions reduction across operations, supply chains, and travel, and partner with leadership to deliver measurable outcomes.

You will manage GHG accounting (Scopes 1-3), build data dashboards, and guide disclosures while influencing and collaborating with fleet, facilities, procurement, and operations

Qualifications

• . 10-15+ years of experience in sustainability, climate, carbon management, supply chain, or related fields.
• 2+ years of people management experience in matrixed organizations.
• Experience leading complex, cross-functional programs in matrixed organizations.
• Strong analytical, communication, and executive-level storytelling skills.
• Knowledge of GHG accounting software and similar tools.
• Proficiency with Microsoft tools (Excel, PowerBI, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams).
• Familiarity with frameworks such as the GHG Protocol, EcoVadis, CDP, GRI, and RE100.

Responsibilities

• Own and advance McKinstry’s sustainability and decarbonization programs focused on operations, fleet, facilities, procurement, and travel.
• Develop strategy and execute activities toward net zero in the next ten years.
• Lead annual GHG accounting and reporting across Scope 1-3.
• Design and implement supply chain decarbonization strategies with supplier engagement.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop and track decarbonization improvements nationwide.
• Provide recommendations on carbon offsets and RECs.
• Guide responses to climate and ESG disclosures for clients and stakeholders.
• Lead cross-functional climate initiatives from strategy through execution.
• Create KPIs, dashboards, and progress reporting for performance.
• Lead program planning with accountability for results.
• Mentor and develop a small team of climate professionals.
