Job summary

Akima, LLC seeks a Senior Director of Strategic Capture – Training and Readiness Solutions to drive enterprise growth by leading large-scale, >$500M federal pursuits and integrating training offerings across the portfolio.

The role requires deep DoD training and readiness experience, strong relationships with senior stakeholders, and a proven ability to mobilize cross-functional teams through qualification, win strategy, proposal readiness, and transition to award.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years of progressive Federal business development and capture experience.
• Experience leading multi-hundred-million dollar pursuits in the training and readiness market.
• Established relationships within major DoD training ecosystems.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and execute complex win strategies.

Responsibilities

• Identify and lead new business pursuits valued at $500M+ leveraging Akima’s portfolio.
• Build and maintain a strategic pipeline aligned with growth priorities.
• Lead qualification, capture, pricing, teaming, proposal readiness, and color-team reviews.
• Coordinate enterprise-scale offerings across operating companies to win complex deals.
• Engage senior government stakeholders to shape requirements and opportunities.
