Job summary

Ross Stores is seeking a Senior Director of Store Operations Planning and Administration to drive alignment and execution across the Stores organization. You will lead large cross-functional initiatives, partner with senior leadership, and ensure effective decision-making and prioritized outcomes.

You will orchestrate communication, build operating mechanisms, and translate strategy into actionable plans, including managing a direct report.

Qualifications

• MBA preferred and 10+ years of professional work experience, preferably in strategic management consulting, retail, and/or consumer products.
• Excel and PowerPoint proficiency and strong deck-writing skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with senior executives and influence decisions.
• Experience with strategic initiatives, cross-functional stakeholder engagement, and project management.

Responsibilities

• Act as a strategic thought partner to senior leadership, synthesizing inputs to inform decisions and advance priorities
• Serve as PMO for Store Operations for large cross-functional projects, integrating work streams
• Integrate and connect cross-functional initiatives, ensuring visibility to interdependencies
• Distill large information into clear insights, executive communications, and actionable plans
• Lead high-priority executive requests under tight timelines with high visibility
• Drive organizational focus, managing ad hoc demands and maintaining alignment
• Establish and manage operating rhythms for senior leadership with agendas and forums
