Job description

General Purpose

Store Operations is a large and complex organization with a wide breadth of departments supporting Stores and Field teams. These teams manage both recurring operational activities and multiple large-scale initiatives, requiring significant cross-functional coordination and the ability to respond quickly to evolving business needs. The environment is highly dynamic, with substantial ad hoc demand and competing priorities.

The Store Operations Planning and Administration team serves as the central coordination point for the Stores organization, driving clarity, alignment, and execution across Store Operations. The Senior Director, Store Operations Planning and Administration, operates as both an enterprise leader driving alignment and execution and the PMO leader for the organization’s most critical initiatives. This role is responsible for shaping priorities, enabling effective decision-making, and ensuring alignment across senior leaders and key stakeholders. Acting as a strategic thought partner, this individual anticipates business needs, surfaces risks and opportunities, and helps translate strategy into clear, actionable plans.

In addition to leading large cross-functional initiatives, this role orchestrates communication, drives organizational effectiveness, and ensures leadership teams are focused on the highest-impact work. The Senior Director will develop and implement communication and operating mechanisms that keep internal stakeholders aligned on goals, priorities, and performance.

This position regularly interfaces with Senior Leadership and Executives across the organization, serving as a trusted advisor and central point of integration across initiatives and priorities. This person will manage 1 direct report.

Base salary range: $158,300 – $297,950. The range is dependent on experience, skills, qualifications, education, certifications, seniority, and location. The stated range is one component of the total compensation package; additional rewards vary by position and location.

Essential Functions
  • Act as a strategic thought partner to senior leadership, synthesizing inputs across the organization to inform decisions, frame recommendations, and advance key priorities.
  • Serve as PMO for Store Operations for large cross-functional projects and initiatives, integrating work streams that would otherwise remain siloed and ensuring decisions are sound and meet the needs of the business. Provide insight, guidance and recommendations on fast-moving, highly nuanced initiatives and serve as the primary point person for senior leadership and executives.
  • Integrate and connect cross-functional initiatives, ensuring visibility to interdependencies, sequencing opportunities, and potential synergies across programs.
  • Simplify complexity across the organization by distilling large volumes of information into clear insights, executive-level communications, and actionable plans.
  • Lead special projects and high-priority executive requests, often under tight timelines and with significant visibility.
  • Drive organizational focus and effectiveness, helping senior leaders filter noise, manage ad hoc demands, and maintain alignment on key priorities.
  • Establish and manage operating rhythms for senior leadership, including agendas, decision forums, and follow-ups to ensure accountability and forward momentum.
