Job summary

Moss seeks a Senior Director, Engineering Management in Fort Lauderdale, FL or remote with 50% travel to lead the Engineering Management team within the solar and renewable energy EPC business. You will shape portfolio strategy, align resources, and manage EOR partnerships while guiding Directors and Senior Managers across regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Master's degree preferred; PE license or comparable credential preferred.
• 15+ years in engineering, design management or construction, solar/renewable EPC preferred.
• 10+ years leading engineering/project teams with portfolio-level accountability.
• Experience managing external design partners and MSA governance.

Responsibilities

• Define team portfolios, regional assignments, and resource strategy.
• Coordinate with Preconstruction Management and Business Development on pipeline strategy.
• Own hiring strategy and 6‑/12‑month workforce plans.
• Define and track OKRs and 90/180‑day plans for the org.
• Own the EOR relationship, including MSA review and contract standardization.
• Define roles, governance frameworks, and cross‑functional alignment.
• Drive stakeholder services and build trust with Owners, Trade Partners, EORs, and internal teams.
• Resolve major escalations with sound judgment and bias for action.
