Moss is seeking an Engineering Lead in Fort Lauderdale to partner with the Senior Engineering Manager and project engineers on utility-scale solar and battery storage projects. You will co‑manage design teams, review electrical, civil, and structural layouts, and support on-site technical coordination.

Requires a Bachelor's in engineering, 3+ years in solar construction or engineering management, NEC/NESC familiarity, and strong mentoring and communication skills to guide engineers and ensure

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline required.
• 3+ years in renewable energy/solar construction or engineering management.
• Experience mentoring and training junior engineers.
• Knowledge of electrical design, materials, and methods of construction in power systems.
• Solar electrical systems background; NEC/NESC knowledge is a plus.
• Strong communication and presentation skills; proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsabilidades

• Co-manage project engineers and coordinate with operation teams.
• Review solar plant designs including electrical, civil, and structural layouts.
• Assess PV sizing, DC/AC wiring, and racking/tracker design.
• Coordinate substation design at medium voltages (e.g., 34.5 kV) to interconnect.
• Draft RFIs and solve engineering problems with teams.
• Travel cross-country to support construction teams.
