Job summary

Moss & Associates LLC is seeking a Senior Director, Engineering Management to lead the Engineering Management team within the solar and renewable energy EPC sector. You will align portfolio execution with Moss's Energy Division goals, drive resource planning, and engage with partners to ensure delivery and commercial success.

The role requires extensive experience in engineering, design management, and construction, with leadership over multi-region portfolios.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field required.
Master's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Business Administration is preferred.
Professional Engineer (PE) license or comparable technical credential is preferred.
15+ years of progressive experience in engineering, design management, or construction, including significant experience in solar/renewable EPC sector.
10+ years leading engineering or project teams with portfolio-level outcomes.
Experience managing external design partners or Engineers of Record, including contract negotiation, MSA governance, and performance management.
Track record of building and scaling teams to match pipeline growth across multiple regions and owners.
Strategic leadership: set direction and governance to translate goals into portfolio strategy.
Commercial acumen: manage contracts, budgets, and value engineering with discipline.

Responsibilities

Define team portfolios, regional assignments, and resource strategy.
Coordinate with Preconstruction Management and Business Development on pipeline strategy.
Own hiring strategy and 6- to 12-month workforce plans.
Define and track OKRs and 90/180-day plans for the organization.
Own the EOR strategic relationship, including MSA review and contract standardization.
Define roles, responsibilities, and governance frameworks across Engineering Management.
Drive stakeholder services strategy and build trust with Owners, Trade Partners, EORs, and internal teams.
Resolve major commercial, multi-stakeholder, and project-level escalations with sound judgment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
