Job summary

Moss is seeking a Project Engineer/Senior Project Engineer, Civil in Fort Lauderdale, FL to join the Engineering Services team within its Energy division. You will ensure digital files and drawings align across disciplines and review drawings from multiple engineers and other design files.

You will own portions of the project lifecycle from design to construction support, analyze geotechnical and hydrology reports, and travel nationwide to provide technical support to field teams.

Qualifications

• Experience with utility-scale solar project designs civil/structural plans.
• Experience with solar and battery storage equipment.
• Review scope of work and analyze design implications.
• Own portions of the project lifecycle - design to construction support.
• Analyze geotechnical and hydrology reports for site conditions.
• Estimate earthwork using Civil3D and survey data.
• Collaborate with field teams on earthwork and foundation plans.
• Provide technical guidance on geotechnical and hydrological matters.
• Site visits to verify project specifications.

Responsibilities
