Job summary

Cloudbreak Energy is seeking a Senior Director of Asset Management to build and lead our Asset Management function in Colorado. You will oversee operational performance, safety, and long-term value creation of Cloudbreak’s growing asset base, beginning with a portfolio of 20+ distributed-generation solar projects in Colorado and Maryland.

Qualifications

• Experience in asset management or operations for energy projects.
• Ability to negotiate and manage O&M contracts.
• Experience building or scaling organizational functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the negotiation, structuring, and execution of O&M agreements for the initial 20+-asset portfolio and future assets.
• Manage relationships with O&M providers, monitoring vendors, and field service contractors.
• Establish performance KPIs, escalation pathways, and service-level expectations.
• Oversee contract compliance and performance improvement initiatives.
• Design and implement systems for real-time asset monitoring, event detection, and resolution tracking.
• Establish standards for response times, troubleshooting workflows, and operational reporting.
• Build dashboards and reporting structures for transparency across operations, finance, and executive teams.
• Ensure the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance at operating sites.
• Develop and maintain SOPs for site access, contractor oversight, incident response, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead periodic audits of operational performance and safety adherence.
• Prepare recurring financial, operational, and performance reports for investors and internal leadership.
• Serve as the primary operational contact for investors, lenders, and project partners.
• Manage annual budgets, production forecasts, and performance benchmarking.
• Build and scale the asset management function across Cloudbreak’s portfolio.
