Lightsource BP in Denver, CO is hiring a Solar Asset Manager to oversee a portfolio of utility-scale solar assets. The role coordinates internal teams, service providers, and external stakeholders to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient operations across projects in hybrid settings.

The position emphasizes P&L ownership, debt and tax equity reporting, contract management, and performance optimization, with a focus on ensuring project financial health and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Understanding of utility-scale solar PV systems.
• Proficient in financial management of energy assets including budgeting, P&L analysis, cash flow forecasting, and tax equity and debt compliance.
• Familiarity with PPAs, O&M and EPC contracts, interconnection agreements, and financing documents.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, or Business Administration.
• 3-5 years of experience in Asset Management or Operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of utility-scale solar assets, ensuring safety and reliability.
• Partner with O&M providers to monitor plant performance and track KPIs via monitoring platforms.
• Lead risk assessments across contracts and commercial operations.
• Coordinate project commissioning and handover from construction to operations.
• Support strategic initiatives including refinancing and tax equity structuring.
