SB Energy in Redwood City, CA seeks a Senior Manager / Director – Operations to lead commercial and operational performance for a growing portfolio of utility-scale solar assets across the United States.

This role owns profitability, budgets, contract administration, stakeholder relations, and continuous improvement, with a focus on safety, reliability, and asset value creation for a dynamic, fast-growing company.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in industrial environments.
• At least 7 years in utility-scale solar operations.
• 3+ years of supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of NEC and standard practices.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and SCADA systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the operational and commercial performance of utility-scale solar assets.
• Own plant profitability and performance objectives.
• Develop and execute strategies to maximize revenue and asset value.
• Manage operating budgets, forecasts, and business plans.
• Interface with O&M contractors, EPCs, OEMs, utilities, and service providers.
• Ensure compliance with PPAs and interconnection agreements.
• Lead contract reviews and negotiations.
• Travel up to 20% domestically.
