Job summary

SB Energy seeks a Senior Manager / Director – Operations to lead a growing portfolio of utility-scale solar projects in the United States, ensuring optimal operational performance and commercial value.

You will own budgets, contracts, and KPI governance, coordinating with O&M contractors, EPCs, OEMs, utilities, and investors to maximize revenue and asset life while supervising a field team and reporting to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative discipline.
• Advanced degree or additional certifications such as PMP, CFA, CPA preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in industrial environments.
• Minimum 7 years in utility scale solar operations.
• 3+ years of supervisory experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of NEC and ability to read electrical one-line diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the operational and commercial performance of utility-scale solar assets.
• Own plant profitability and KPIs; maximize generation and asset value.
• Develop strategies to maximize revenue, availability, and long-term value.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and operating plans; coordinate with finance.
• Interface with O&M/ EPC contractors, OEMs, utilities, and investors.
• Ensure compliance with PPAs, interconnection, and service contracts.
